A lifelong obsession with horses and a strong creative drive led me to my passion, the wonderful world of online and print design for the equine enthusiast. I love to work with horse owners to provide them with the perfect online presence to introduce their business to potential customers all over the world.

A site that loads quickly, is easy to navigate and with an eye-catching design invites your visitor to linger. This is why I am reluctant to include animations, flashing stars and similar as I believe they detract from the continuity of a site and can be irritating to some viewers. I personally dislike adding music to a site as it is understood that many potential customers are viewing your website from a work computer - how annoying to click on a site and suddenly music blares out across the office! My work is client-driven however and 'the customer is always right'. You want it, you got it.

I am seldom without a camera in hand as I never know when I will come across the perfect background, texture or scene during my travels. My own patient and long-suffering horses are often pressed into service as they provide the silhouettes occasionally needed for logo design - you can almost hear them groan as I trudge towards them with Canon in hand! It's amazing how a stockhorse head silhouette can become an Arabian with some PhotoShop manipulation.
